My name is Jen and I am passionate about teaching people a skill of safe driving for life.
I qualified as a DVSA approved driving instructor in May 2008. After qualifying I worked independently until October 2011 when I left the industry to go on maternity leave with my son. Upon returning I contacted Bubble Driving School to enquire about a franchise with them and have been working alongside them ever since May 2014.
I am 31 years old and consider myself a patient and calm person. I also pride myself on being reliable, punctual and always smart.
The things I really enjoy about my career are the fact no two days are the same, no two pupils are the same.
I have taught a mix array of pupils, from a profoundly deaf lady - with me not knowing any sign language and her not being able to lip read, to pupils with learning difficulties, to pupils who do not speak English as a first language.
I find I learn some things from pupils as much as they are learning from me.
Since starting my franchise with Bubble I have become qualified as a QCF assessor which gives me the opportunity to offer pupils the chance to gain a BTEC qualification along with teaching them safe driving for life.
The vehicle I teach in is a citreon ds3
Areas i cover are:
BS2, BS3, BS4, BS13, BS14, BS30, BS31
