Terms and Conditions

Bubble Driving School Ltd is a Limited Company, and all our driving Instructors are self-employed, this means they are classed as third party and not employed by Bubble Driving School Ltd however they are self-employed. All our instructors are trading under the brand Bubble Driving School Ltd.

1.2 Bubble Driving School Ltd Acts as a booking agent and head office facilitates all new client's first bookings on behalf of our instructors. All New Customers to Bubble Driving School Ltd are required to pre-pay for their first driving lesson and during the payment process, an admin fee of £5.00 is added. Please see Admin Fee below for further information. After completion of your first lesson with your assigned instructor, all future lesson bookings and payments are made directly to your instructor, excluding intensive courses, these are to be paid directly to Bubble Driving School Ltd. During your first lesson please ask your instructor what methods of payment they accept.
1.3 Any driving School car graphic under the Bubble Driving School Ltd name are the franchised instructor’s own vehicle, unless supplied by Bubble Driving School Ltd.
1.4 Bubble Driving School Ltd also handles all intensive course, bookings, and Payments. Once the assessment or first day of an intensive course begins, the payments that are held in the client account are paid directly to our third-party franchisee Bubble instructor.

o1.5 Any legal claims that are made, are directly between the client and the instructor and has no reflection to the brand of Bubble Driving School Ltd. Bubble Driving School Ltd instructors are franchise self-employed (3rd party) upon commencing your lessons with the instructor all future financial and legal issues are between yourself the client, and the instructor. Bubble Driving School Ltd is a facilitator Brand, and are not legally responsible, liable for any altercations or incidents that could/may arise post your first driving lessons with your instructor. This also extends to intensive course/block bookings/motorway/refresher/begins/assessment/introductory lessons or gift packages. All future bookings and payments post first lesson are made between yourself, the client/pupil/ and the self-employed 3rd party franchisee instructor.

1.6 Any vehicle branded as Bubble Driving School Ltd unless stated otherwise is the personal vehicle of your instructor, they will endeavour to make sure it is in always working order and clean and tidy. Unless the vehicle has been provided by Bubble Driving School Ltd head office.

2.0 Bubble Driving School Ltd driving instructors are franchised under the brand of Bubble Driving School Ltd, they are not employed, the terms and conditions issued to all instructors are from Bubble Driving School Ltd Head office, signing of all terms and conditions contracts is also acceptable to the additional terms laid out on Bubble Driving School Ltd Ltd.’s website.

2.1 Bubble Driving School Ltd and its instructors are all franchisee's. This means they are classed as 3rd party and trade under the Brand of Bubble Driving School Ltd. All pupil's personal data and their records are stored and secure. And are all compliant with all Data protection and GDPR laws.
2.2 Upon the initial booking of your first driving lesson/course, customers have 24 hrs to make payment to office staff, failure to do so will result in cancellation of the lesson at office staff or instructors' discretion.
2.3 Upon completing Prepayment either through the office or directly to your instructor for your first lesson, gift package, or intensive course, this automatically becomes an electronic confirmation of agreement to Bubble Driving School Ltd terms and conditions laid out on our website and our terms and conditions contracts. This applies to ALL clients, whereby any parents /partner /friend / employer/family member or relative make the pre-payment/ deposit on behalf of the client who will be learning to drive.

3.0 It is a Legal Requirement for all candidates wanting to learn to drive must have in their possession a provisional or full UK driver's license. Lessons cannot be undertaken if the candidate does not possess a provisional license or full UK driver's license as this is a criminal offense. All candidates must present their license to their driving instructor upon first driving lesson as well as their national insurance, this is to access their electronic counterpart on their license, to confirm their identity. Any candidate who cannot or doesn't produce their license and national insurance number on their first driving lesson will be charged for that lesson.

3.1 Upon initial booking, prepayment must be taken, this will produce a receipt via email which must be produced to the instructor on their 1st lesson with your license. The office staff will explain this during the prepayment process. Failure to produce your license during your first lesson to your instructor will result in the cancellation of your first lesson and being charged in full.
3.2 Each lesson booked will last for the period of two hours from when the instructor arrives at the pupil/client's address on the pre-arranged/booked appointment time. 
3.3 The pupil may be permitted to use the training car for their driving test, only if the driving instructor is satisfied that the pupil is at the required standard. The Length of time required for a test is 2.5 hours or 3.5hrs for extended tests. The test fee is a separate price, due to the use of the car for test and training before test time. See prices for further information.

4.0 Payment for the lessons are due within 72 hours of making a lesson booking with your driving instructor. Failure to do so results in your booking being removed.

4.1 All customers are required to pay in advance for each lesson booking or block booking.
4.2 Bubble Driving School Ltd is a cashless business. We will not accept payments by cheques or cash. Lesson payments accepted are bank transfers, PayPal if your instructor has this, chip and pin terminal.
4.3 During your first driving lesson ask your instructor what method of payment they accept.

5.0 The pupil must not be under the influence of any Alcohol, Drugs or Medication which may affect their driving. If so, this will result in the lesson being cancelled and full payment being made to the instructor.

5.1 The pupil agrees to the terms and conditions above and below; this being recognized by paying for the driving lessons at the present rates included in our price list.
5.2 Block booking/special offers are non-refundable and non-transferable to another instructor.
5.3 Block bookings must be purchased with your driving instructor if you are having more than 1 x 2hr lessons per week. Should you choose not to, the instructor will only be able to accommodate 1 x 2 hr lesson per week.
5.4 If the pupil wishes to cancel their instructor through the course of a block booking/intensive course they relinquish their block booking/intensive course payment, which is non-refundable and non-transferable, to a different instructor.
5.5 Any legal claim is made this against the Driving Instructor who provided your training notBubble Driving School Ltd. All our instructors are trading under the brand Bubble Driving School Ltd.
5.6 Block booking/pre-paid lessons must be taken within a 90-day period of payment, if not, the pupil relinquishes the right to take these paid lessons.

6.0 Intensive course clients must undergo a 2hr assessment lesson this must be prepaid for at a normal rate.

6.1 Whereby a client confirms a course duration with the instructor, the client must pay 25% deposit of the total course fee to Bubble Driving School Ltd within 48hours of confirming course training dates. Failure to do so will result in the provisional date being offered to someone else.
6.2 Where Intensive courses are booked; these dates are non-changeable and non-refundable.
6.3 Should you need Bubble Driving School Ltd to source your driving test the test fee and admin price will be included in your course price.
6.4 Bubble Driving School Lads intensive course instructors will be training you up to the high standard the DVSA set, or the driving test Bubble Driving School Ltd cannot make any guarantees you will pass your driving test undergoing an intensive course or weekly /top up lessons. It is down to you the client to demonstrate the skills you have been taught on test day.

7.0 What happens if my driving instructor leaves Bubble Driving School Ltd and goes on his/her own? If this happens, the instructor will be issued with a document that you will need to sign in triplicate as will they. By you signing this document after your instructor has read it to you will permit for you to allow him/her to retain your Personal details and continue training with them from their leaving date on wards, it will also state, that any issues that arise with you and your instructor from their leaving date on wards is an issue between yourselves, and has no reflection, affiliation or link to Bubble Driving School Ltd. You will be given a signed copy, as will the instructor, and a copy will be sent to Head office all before your instructors leaving date.

7.1 If however, you wish to stay with Bubble Driving School Ltd and move to a different instructor when your current instructor leaves and you have opted out of signing a release form, your current instructor will not retain your details and they will have destroyed all forms of information on you, the client, by their leaving date. This includes name, address, postcode, contact number, banking details, and driving records, as well as all email and texts too. This makes Bubble Driving School Ltd and its Instructors fully compliant with data protection and GDPR laws surround an instructor leaving Bubble Driving School Ltd.

7.2 If a driving instructor does retain your details, then they themselves are in breach of the law. As Bubble Driving School has been fully compliant in data protection and GDPR law practice.

8.0 Strict cancellation conditions

8.1 Pupils must ensure that TWO CLEAR WORKING DAYS is given to their instructor for cancellation or rearrangement of weekly lessons.
8.2 Intensive course candidates must give 28 days’ notice in written form to Bubbe Driving school. Failure to do so can result in your course being removed from the diary and all paid fees potentially being absorbed by the school/instructor.
8.3 Working days are Monday to Friday inclusive.
8.4 If Cancellation is made within the two working day period e.g. less than forty-eight hours’ notice, then the pupil will be charged for the full amount of the lesson booked.
8.5 Client will need to prepay for rebooking their next lesson after cancellation.

9.0 If a candidate fails to declare to office staff or the instructor that they do not possess a provisional licence or full UK drivers’ licence, and the lesson is cancelled within forty-eight hours of the lesson commencing, by either office staff or the driving instructor, will result in the lesson being charged in full.

9.1 If a client fails to turn up to a driving lesson and gives no notice via phone or email cancelling, that lesson/course day will be charged in full.
9.2 If a client fails to meet the instructor of the scheduled booked lesson, that time will be deducted from the remaining duration of your lesson/Course and you will be charged in full for your booked appointment. Please remember, you, the Client are paying for the instructor to teach you to learn to drive and are reserving specific start and finish times in the instructors scheduled working diary.
9.3 Where the instructor may arrive slightly late for a lesson due to circumstances beyond his/her control, the instructor will make efforts to extend the finish time off the lesson by the same amount of time or add the time on to a future lesson.
9.3 The pupil must not be under the influence of any alcohol, drugs or medication which may affect their driving. If a pupil is suspected of being under the influence the instructor reserves the right for his/her safety and that of other road users to cancel the lesson. In doing so the lesson cancelled will be charged at the full rate of the hours booked. Payment is to be made to the instructor.

10.0 Admin Fee and Premium charge for Evenings Weekends and Bank Holidays.

10.1 An £5.00 admin fee for introductory lessons is payable upon prepayment process for 2 Hour beginners/assessment lesson/refresher lesson/motorway lesson! We charge this fee to administer the booking process fees on your behalf between you and your instructor once you have had your first lesson/intensive course assessment with your instructor and to contribute to the cost of administering your funds in the Client Account.
10.2 An £25.00 admin fee and post & Packaging for gift packages is a part of the total gift package. We charge this fee to administer the booking process/gift package posting/delivery and process fees on your behalf between you and your instructor once you have had your first lesson with your instructor and to contribute to the cost of administering your funds in the Client Account.
10.3 Intensive course clients must pay 25% of their Total intensive course fee within 48 hours of the confirmed advised course dates the office offer on the instructor's behalf.
10.4 Your outstanding course fee is due to be paid outside of 28days from your course commencing this is paid directly to Bubble Driving School Ltd. Failure to do so may risk your course being candled and any fees paid lost.
10.5 All course payment is kept in the client account and released to the instructor on the first day of the client's intensive course beginning.
10.6 Your instructor is paid your prepayment once you have had your first Beginners lesson/Assessment lesson/Refreshers lesson/Motorway lesson/ First day of your intensive course.

11.0 Upon your first driving lesson, you MUST show to the instructor your driving license, and receipt of first pre-paid lesson or gift certificate/voucher (all pre-paid lessons receipts will be sent to email address provided upon taking initial payment). All future lessons after your first driving lesson, are then payable direct to your driving instructor. Upon your first lesson please ask your instructor what method of payments they accept. Your instructor will handle all your future lesson appointments and payments.

11.1 Premium lesson charge. Our driving instructors work a solid 6–8-hour days. Sacrificing their evenings and weekends that they can spend with their families or rest from a day's work. A premium charge for any driving lesson on evenings from 5pm onwards, or on weekends, or bank holidays is chargeable of £5.00 per hour.

12.0 We comply with the Data Protection Act and GDPR concerning handling customer information. If you need to cancel your paid lesson, we require a minimum of two clear working days, before the date the lesson is booked. Cancelling of any lessons must be done in person over the phone, to a member of our office staff, or via our email address info@bubbledrivingschool.co.uk . You will be required to give all information (name, full postal address and contact number) with your booking for us to confirm that you are the client and the lesson to be cancelled. If a client fails to contact the office or the instructor to cancel or rearrange their driving lesson within the 2 working days’ notice period, he/she may be charged in full for that missed lesson slot.

13.0 Office* pre-payment Refunds, via debit or credit card, will ONLY be issued to on the following basis:
All refunds are claimed within 21 days of the cancelled lesson. (Any claims made past this period are null and void)

13.1 Only the original card payer can claim a refund minus admin charges paid at the time.
13.2 All claims must be made via a telephone call to office staff.
13.3 All refunds are subject to meeting Bubble Driving School Ltd Terms and conditions.
13.4 Once a refund is processed, payment will be made back to you within 21 working days.
13.5 Intensive course refunds will only be issued outside of 28 days' notice of the course beginning. Minus the admin fee.
13.6 Any refunds post pre-paid first lesson, are to be arranged directly with your independent instructor (providing you have met these terms)
Any legal claim is made this against the Driving Instructor who provided your training not Bubble Driving School Ltd. All our instructors are trading under the brand Bubble Driving School Ltd.
13.7 Pupils will only be permitted to use the instructor's training car for their driving test if the driving instructor is satisfied that the pupil is at the required standard. The length of time required for Test is specifically 2.5 hours. Test fee day is in accordance with our price page.
13.8 Block booking/special offers, once paid are Non-Refundable and Non-transferable between instructors’.
13.9 Gift packages once paid/issued are valid for 90 days from date of purchase (unless otherwise stated) this is printed on the voucher.
13.10 Gift packages refunds, can only be claimed inside of 90days from date of purchase, being unused, and the delivery and admin fee is deducted from the refund.
13.11 Any refunds for gift packages can only be claimed if the above criteria are met.
13.12 Refunds for gift vouchers/packages may take up to 28 days to process and reach your account.
13.13 Gift vouchers, pre-paid lessons, and block bookings must be booked within 90 days unless otherwise stated of payment. If not, the pupil relinquishes the right to take these paid lessons or seek a refund as this is past the voucher’s expiry date.

14.0 Block Bookings

14.1 Block bookings, Block bookings allow you the client to make priority bookings weeks in advance to the total time duration to the block booking purchased. Additionally, this allows you to choose specific day time slots.
14.2 Block bookings for daytime can only be used in weekday time, if you require evening or weekends you will need to pay for the evening weekend block booking rate.
14.3 Any customer who wishes to have more than 1 x 2 hr lesson per week will need to pay for a block booking to receive more than 1 x 2 hr, this allows the user to have a maximum of up to 3 x 2 hr lessons per week subject to instructor availability.
14.4 Should I (the pupil) choose to cancel a lesson within the 48hrs notice period; I am aware that this late cancelation will be deducted from my pre purchased block booking.
14.5 I, the customer, am aware that once a block booking is paid for, these are non-transferable or refundable.
14.6 At Bubble Driving School Ltd, we are an inclusive business, and a few members of our team may have some ongoing health problems, and may on occasion have to re-arrange a training session/driving lesson, and I (the pupil) am fully aware that the instructor will rearrange the cancelled lesson/training session to a later date in that week
14.7 We require of any cancellation at least 2 clear working days prior to the lesson. Should a cancellation be within this time frame you will be charged at the full rate of the lesson booked, or the hours will be deducted from your block booking/course time. This is enforced independently by our instructors and head office.
14.8 If a client fails to turn up to a driving lesson and gives no notice via phone or email cancelling, that lesson will be charged in full.
14.9 If a client fails to meet the instructor of the scheduled booked lesson, that time will be deducted from the remaining duration of your lesson and you will be charged in full for your booked appointment. Please remember, you, the Client are paying for the instructor to teach you to learn to drive and are reserving specific start and finish times in the instructors scheduled working diary.

15.0 Where the instructor may arrive slightly late for a lesson due to circumstances beyond his/her control, the instructor will make efforts to extend the finish time off the lesson by the same amount of time or add the time on to a future lesson.

16.0 Bubble Driving School Ltd has a Zero Tolerance policy. Any customers who become threatening, abusive, violent or harass any of our office staff or instructors, will be reported to the police. Their lesson and all future lessons with the instructor and Bubble Driving School Ltd will be terminated.

17.0 Intensive Course Conditions

17.1 Our intensive course instructors are self-employed, and Bubble Driving School Ltd acts as a facilitator. All payments for intensive Course are made through Bubble Driving School Ltd Head office. The money is released to the driving instructor upon completion of your assessment or the first day of your course beginning.
17.2 All intensive course candidates must undergo a compulsory two-hour assessment lesson first***. No intensive course will be booked unless a two-hour assessment lesson is booked and paid for or completed first. All two-hour assessment lessons must be prepaid, which is subject to a £5.00 admin fee. Where Intensive courses are booked by your specialized instructor (not including two-hour assessment lesson, or test day) course dates are non-changeable, non-transferable and non-refundable. **
17.3 Upon initial booking of assessment lesson leading to intensive courses, any dates and times quoted before assessment lesson, leading to intensive tuition are subject to change daily, this is subject to high demand, and peak times. Our Office will confirm course dates with yourself after your assessment and finalize them as well as do the course deposit with yourself.
17.4 Where an intensive instructor/office staff advises what course will benefit the client; the client is aware they may need additional lesson/s if they are struggling in an area of the training. For this reason, we, the driving school advise all clients have a minimum of 2 week break from end of training before their driving test. If there is still an area of difficulty, the instructor advises there may not be enough time to get it corrected with available lesson slots, the instructor will advise the client to push the test date back before the 3 working day notification window.
17.5 At the end of the assessment session. The client will need to decide within 48 hrs of the assessment if they wish to go ahead and book the advised course. A minimum of 25% of the course fee is to be paid directly to Bubble Driving School Ltd, with the outstanding balance paid a minimum of 28 days before the course begins.
17.5 The remaining balance of the intensive course is due no later than 28days before your course begins
17.6 If your course begins inside of 28 days of your assessment being completed the full course payment is due in full to secure your training dates.
17.7 Should I (the pupil) choose to cancel my intensive course, either before or during, whatever course fees I have paid for my training, I am fully aware these are non-refundable or transferable.
17.8 Any legal claim is made this against the Driving Instructor who provided your training notBubble Driving School Ltd. All our instructors are trading under the brand Bubble Driving School Ltd. Bubble Driving School Lads intensive course instructors will be training you up to the high standard the dosa set or the driving test Bubble Driving School Ltd cannot make any guarantees you will pass your driving test undergoing an intensive course or weekly /top up lessons. It is down to you the client to demonstrate the skills you have been taught on test day.
17.9 Bubble Driving School Ltd cannot guarantee an intensive course candidate will learn all the necessary skills and techniques during their course (this is due to each individuate candidates learning abilities) The candidate may need additional training.
17.10 Bubble Driving School Ltd cannot guarantee an intensive course candidate will pass their driving test after undergoing an intensive course. It is down to the candidate to perform what they have been taught on test day.
17.11 if an intensive course candidate fails their driving test, they may need to have some additional hours of training prior to their retest
17.12 Where an intensive course instructor is unavailable for a retest, bubble driving school will try to facilitate another instructor to cover your test. You may require undergoing a few lessons prior with the instructor to become familiar with their vehicle, please be aware that any instructor provided for retests is from our weekly tuition team and thus any training given is between yourself and the weekly instructor going forwards, this also relates to finances and any legal issues.

18.0 At Bubble Driving School Ltd, we are an inclusive business, and a few members of our team may have some ongoing health problems, and may on occasion have to re-arrange a training session/weekly driving lesson, and I (the pupil) am fully aware that the instructor will rearrange the cancelled lesson/training session on my remaining training days on of my intensive course.

19.0 If a client fails to turn up to a driving lesson and gives no notice via phone or email cancelling, that lesson booked lesson will be charged in full, and will not be rescheduled or refunded.

20.0 If a client fails to meet the instructor of the scheduled booked lesson, that time will be deducted from the remaining duration of your lesson and you will be charged in full for your booked appointment. Please remember, you, the Client are paying for the instructor to teach you to learn to drive and are reserving specific start and finish times in the instructors scheduled working diary.

21.0 Where the instructor may arrive slightly late for a lesson due to circumstances beyond his/her control, the instructor will make efforts to extend the finish time off the lesson by the same amount of time or add the time on to a future lesson.

22.0 Whilst we try our best to get you test ready and pass, we cannot guarantee you will be test ready as everyone learns at a different pace. If you need additional lessons these are charged at normal lesson rate up to a total of 11 hours. If you book or need more than 11 hours additional training, then the price for additional lessons falls under intensive course pricing. (payment process is the same as your first course)

23.0 Bubble Driving School Ltd has a Zero Tolerance policy. Any customers who become threatening, abusive, violent or harass any of our office staff or instructors, will be reported to the police. Their lesson and all future lessons with the instructor and Bubble Driving School Ltd will be terminated.

24.0 By booking lessons with Bubble Driving School Ltd you agree to our terms and conditions.

25.0 *Refunds are strictly from Bubble Driving School Ltd office for pre-paid lessons made direct to the office, and NOT individual instructors after first driving lesson. **This includes two-hour assessment lesson, intensive course, and test day with a specialized instructor.

26.0 ADI Training

26.1 Bubble Driving School Ltd prefers to operate a pay as you go system for driving instructor training instead of taking large payments upfront. The only exception to this is the fee for your course books. If a candidate wanted to pay a large sum of their training costs through the office, instead of paying as you go to their trainer, the office will hold their money and release it in its entirety to the relevant ADI trainer
26.2 If a candidate decides to do intensive ADI training over a few weeks, rather than regular weekly training, the full fee will be released on the first day of their training to the designated ADI trainer.
26.3 Any candidate who decides to change their training dates once booked into an ADI trainers diary for intensive training, which had been previously agreed between the candidate and the allotted instructor, may potentially lose their funds that have been paid. Or, if the trainer agrees the training sessions will be put on hold for up to eighteen months. This would mean that whatever training has been completed previously will be deducted from the fees paid and the remaining funds retained, ready for the candidate to continue their training with their allotted ADI trainer for a validity of eighteen months. Post this date the funds will be lost to the candidate. This is subject to our Intensive training clause regarding course cancelations and payments.
26.4 Cancelling a training session, a minimum of seventy-two hours’ notice is required to the ADI trainer, which is required in a text to the ADI trainer and an email to our office sent to adi@bubbledrivingschool.co.uk.
26.5 Bubble Driving School Ltd ADI trainers follow a strict but friendly training program that we have used for many years with an excellent success record with all candidates. All our ADI trainers are self-employed by Bubble Driving School Ltd, accommodating instructor training involves major changes to the instructors regular working week diary and because of this, if any subsequent changes that are made the trainer is unable to work. As the trainer who has prioritised, you’re training over their regular driving lesson clientele. See intensive cancellation terms.
